Who wouldn’t want to admire the views of the beautiful South Downs on their special day? An idyllic backdrop for pictures, and all that fresh country air is bound to put you and your guests in a good mood!


An outdoor event in the great outdoors is particularly appealing in the summer time- as the sights, sounds and smells are refreshing to the senses- why do you think the Great British Bake Off is filmed in a marquee? But hiring a tipi can work just as well in the winter, because when you shut the sides and use a fireplace our structures can be pretty cosy.

Hiring a tipi for a celebration in a field or stately grounds, means you will have green space, no neighbours and the option for late night revelling. You can even bring your dogs (or kids!!) Choosing a location out of the centre of town means you should also have access for parking and room for your own mini festival if required; We work with some fabulous bell tent companies if you are looking for some luxury glamping for your guests and are happy to introduce you.


Just remember your bug spray! This is a must-have for any outdoor event. You can opt for Citronella candles or have packs of bug wipes on each table. There’s also things you can do, to prevent them in the first place, such as ensuring your Tipi isn’t near any standing water.

However, you can’t get married in a field yet, as the Home Office rules state that a suitable roofed structure must be licensed by the relevant County Registrar and approved by the Fire Officer; But you can hold an outdoor blessing or humanist ceremony, or get married elsewhere and use one of our fabulous tipis for your celebration, dinner or reception.


If you don’t want a traditional party, another bonus in using a tipi is that you can really go to town on the décor. Hiring a tipi means you are working with a blank canvas to stamp with your own personality. Lots of themes work really well in the countryside- from Boho, to Mexican, to Wild West to Alice in Wonderland!

From seating 60 to a celebration of 250, our tipis are versatile and can be utilised for any number of attendees. AND you can bring your own booze, food, DJs and pets! There are no restrictions when you are holding your own event. *We do strongly advise you tell let us know about your power requirements though, as you will probably need a generator.


The versatility of the tipis means they can be used all year round. During warmer months the sides can be raised to make the most of the summer sun and during colder months the sides can be lowered and the tipis can be heated providing a warm cosy atmosphere. We provide, tables, benches, lighting and a dance floor.
